Rod Powell  built this for Robin Williams character Mork in "The Mork and Mindy Show". The show was cancelled before the car could be used in the series. It was later turned into the Pac-Man mobile.

Rod Powell originally built this for Robin Williams' character Mork on "The Mork and Mindy Show ". Robin had unfortunately quit the show by the time the car was completed. It later was transformed the Pac-Man Rod. Both versions were goofy, and speaking of goofy, I wanted to bang Pam Dawber's character Mindy when I was a kid.
I met Powell in the late 80's, early 90's at Lead East. He was doing the pinstriping charity event. Real cool guy. We talked about custom painting. I told him I was doing airbrush and graphics at the time, and he gave me one of his pinstriping brushes and encouraged me to learn to pinstripe my own work.
