Digger Monday...Double Trouble

Bill Gardner built this pair of diggers for two brothers. They needed them ready at the same time. Bill stretched the frames using a a pair of his hardheads. One way to tell a GMA hardhead is they only use one mounting bolt for the front engine mount and the upper mount is pretty unique also. I've got one of these on the burner in the shop right now!

Bill Gardner...My New Digger Project

I'll mount the Magnacharger like this one.

Awhile back I bought this frame from a guy in Nebraska. Supposedly done by Gardner before he started GMA. 4 days later, I picked up a clean ironhead for cheap. About a month prior I bought a primary set up for a Magnacharger off eBay just because it came with the A-frame and belt tensioner pulley. I didn't need the primary but needed everything else. I happen to have another Magnacharger sitting on the shelf with a straight snout drive. See where this is going? Another blown digger. Sometimes shit just comes together. It'll be on the back burner for awhile, I've got 3 other projects ahead of her.
