Don Ingles 750 Honda

This torsion bar suspended two wheeled terror is stable mate to Ness's "2Bad" and the rolling chassis that was on eGay last month. This whole torsion/center hub design was a collaboration between Arlen, Jim Davis, and Bob Munroe.
Don's bike is cool, but lacks the wow factor of "2Bad". The first time you see Arlen's bike it straight up kicks you in the balls, while Don's bike is much more docile. Art Himsl is credited with the paint. I would have cut him loose on this bike, as he's capable of so much more. Who knows, this bike may have been built on a tight deadline?

Digger Monday...Mail Call

This is one of my favorite Ness bikes, and the amazing thing is this could have been built completely out of  Arlen's mail order catalog. This bike is everything a digger should be...low and long, supercharged, chrome pating, gold plating, narrow springer, etc. I love it with either tank, too!

Merc Motivation...

My buddy Bill sent me some pics to motivate me to get back to work on my '51. Ol' Bill is a car guy and doesn't realize I need to finish up my two project bikes before I get going again on the Merc. I'm always flip flopping on selling or keeping her. Anyway, here's some pics.

Trike Thursday...The Two Cycle

A California Cycle Works creation, this trike is motivated by dual Kawi 500 2-strokes. The frame was fabbed from 1.5" tubing, the fiberglass fairings house the fuel for this beast, all looking good, with paint from Free Form Studios. The 18" over girder and 20" wheels are CCW items. This trike is still out there being shown, and luckily unmolested.
