On The Table...

I need a second fab table in the shop. These are the start of the new legs. I've got two legs done, two to go. I've got a nice one inch top for it once the frame's done. I'm debating about putting wheels on it, in case I ever have to move it around. If not I can always forklift it, I guess.

On The Cheap...

My buddy Rob is building a rigid Sporty as cheap as possible. You know the deal, house, wife, kid, etc. Anyway, he wanted to use his stock exhaust as the basis for a set of custom pipes. The main problem was that butt ugly crossover pipe. Problem averted. Nothing a little tig'n on my lunch hour can't fix. He just has to do a little hand sanding/file work and no one will ever know.

Idle Time Is The Devils Playground

Had some downtime at work today, so I got a little work done on my killing time tank. Welded in the filler and petcock bungs. If we're slow again tomorrow, I might put a rib down the center.

Killing time gas tank

Sometimes we have a couple hours to kill at work. Out of sheer boredom, I started this tank. I had an old mustang I couldn't even give away, maybe cause of the yellow paint so I figured I'd hack it up. Hopefully Saturday will be slow and I can work on it some more.
