This Past Weekend...
I'm a huge fan of street art and art in general. I caught this Shepard Fairey piece while cruising through Asbury Park, NJ. While this piece is obviously about free speech, which is a cornerstone of our country's beliefs and rights as a citizen, I completely disagree with the Muslims marching on D.C. on 9/11. Sorry people, you picked the wrong day for your rally!

They are so simple to build, but so many go horribly wrong. They can be done on the cheap and still look great, but require a good eye. The stance and paint on this one is dead on. Sabbath Killed It...
These fuckers totally rocked it. We caught soundcheck in the afternoon. The boys quickly ran through Iron Man. Oz's vocals sounded like crap the first verse, and then like turning on a switch, everything was perfect. The show was phenominal and the sound was amazing for an outdoor arena. Andrew W.K. opened as a ...DJ. Kinda odd, but it got the mood set. He spun through a bunch of East Coast metal, NY hardcore, Slayer, Zombie etc. Sabbath opened with the usual War Pigs and had 22,000 people singing right along. If you get a chance to catch em, check them out. You won't be disappointed!
