Manny, Moe & Jack Are Bitches

Last year I picked up some cheap tires for my pick'em up truck. Pep Boys was running their buy 3 get 1 free deals. Anyway these jack asses put the wrong tires on my truck, so I ended up buying all 4. After arguing with the manager we come to an understanding that the only satisfaction I am going get is me kicking his ass.
Fast forward to last week. I get a nail in my tire. I take the tire off the truck and bring it back to them because I purchased their tire warranty. The service manager says he can't take a look at it that night (Thursday), they're too busy and don't have the manpower. He'll look at it in the morning. I call Friday afternoon a couple of times, but these fuckers don't answer their phone. Friday night I drive to the shop. The manager says the tires I have on the truck are now discontinued. He can prorate all four tires and for almost $200, he'll give me 4 new tires. I have about 8,000 miles on these tires. I tell him no deal, give me 1 tire for free. After arguing for a half hour he agrees. He doesn't have the tire in stock, but he can get one in the morning (Saturday). He'll call me when it's done. Saturday afternoon I call, once again no answer. Sunday afternoon, still no answer, so I drive down. The idiot at the service counter tells me I owe him $86 for the tire and mount/balance. We argue once again. The manager I made the deal with is not there and cannot be reached by phone. I leave before I end up hitting this fucking retard. This jack ass was there when I made the deal with the manager, but says it's in the computer that I owe $86. I tell him to go fuck himself and give me my rim back. Of course he says he can't do that. What a surprise!
Monday I drive down. Nobody's at the service counter, so I have the manager paged. After waiting ten minutes I grab my wheel with the new tire and walk towards the door. Some "conscientious" employee decides to question what I'm doing...The outcome...he gets to feel some of my aggravation and I still leave with my tire.
The moral is just buy good tires from a reputable shop, not Pep Boys! 4 hours of my life and a half a tank of gas wasted over a flat tire.
